Saint Anthony School has a volunteer squad to serve as safety patrol under the direction of a police officer and school personnel. A consent form signed by the parents and the school principal is required by the Honolulu Police Department for those students who would like to join the JPO. The student must maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

• The JPO program is open to all students regardless of race and sex.
• The JPO shall be on duty each day at least 30 minutes before school begins and for a period of 15 minutes after the students are dismissed.
• The JPO does not have the authority to direct traffic but shall give warning to motorists that a crosswalk is in use.
• They shall signal to pedestrians to refrain from crossing the streets when vehicular traffic is deemed a hazard.
